This is my secondary blog and is designed as an archive of my handmade creations, past and present. I also add dates of fairs I'm attending, where I offer for sale my handmade pieces and also carefully sourced vintage goods. I hope you will enjoy taking a look, Niki x

Crinoline Lady Chic!

A handmade bag - Vintage floral fabrics and a hand embroidered linen panel, featuring a crinoline lady in her cottage garden.

The back - I added a hand embroidered mat to create a useful pocket.
I'm not sure a vintage crinoline lady is particularly chic, but hey, I love her anyway!
Have a lovely weekend,

This Week's Makes...

As well as filling my shop full of handmade bunting ready for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in Shepton Mallet tomorrow, I have also made a pair of cushions.
I used vintage hand embroidery and a late 40's/ early 50's floral fabric.

Inside are plump feather filled pads.

I also covered a pair of shoe stretchers and have plans to do more for the Cotswold's Vintage Fair in August.
These sold today.

Have a lovely Jubilee weekend,
Niki x
